Question about powder coated chassis

I have read a few different opinions on various boards about RC10 powder coated chassis. The question I have is that I know 100% that the chassis and nose plates were available in a variety of colors but what about the motor plates? I have heard that they were never offered in the powder coated colors and the correct restore would use a black motor plate for these powder coated chassis.

Powder coating a motor plate doesn't help dissipate heat.

Yes, AE never offered a Powder coated motor plate.
