Edit: went back and checked my records.

My mom's side goes back to before the American revolution, one ancestor to the Jamestown colony where he came over in 1620. They were mostly Quakers who immigrated from Holland and I have several ancestors who fought in the revolution.

So I think I calculated and that makes me a 13th generation American.

I've written James Earl Jones numerous times asking him to read it on to a soundtrack for me, but he stopped returning my correspondence several months ago. :(

Maybe if I quit calling him "Vader" I'd get a more positive response to my requests... perhaps Jim.

My mom is first Gen American - Father was from northern England of the Armstrong clan and her Mother was from southern Scotland. Dad's family is from Oklahoma with not a lot of records other then moved to California in the 30's during the dust bowl.

Fourth generation Canadian. 1/2 German on my Dad's side, 1/4 Ukrainian 1/4 English on my Mom's side. Dads side landed at Ellis Island in the late 1800's, 1898 I think. Homesteaded in South Dakota moved to North Dakota and then Castor Alberta Canada. We can trace on my Dads side all the way back to the Crusades when my family were knights from the town of Littau (now part of Lucerne) in Switzerland. My Dad's family kept great records!

My Mother came over from Italy in the late 1960's, my Father is half German and half Italian. We never really spent any time with my father's German side but I got the German name despite being mostly Italian. My wife is 3/4 German and 1/4 Italian, I guess that makes our kids a 50/50 split German/Italian?
I also work for a Tyrolian company. Go figure...

I am 50/50 German and Irish, but have a French surname due to my grandfather being adopted. I have been told that I have dual German/American citizenship due to the fact that I was born in Germany (as an American citizen, army), but I don't really know anything about that. I am an American.
