Thought I might let my wallet cool down a bit and tinker with the new RC10 that is hopefully coming. Now it looks like I will have to buy black parts to make another Team car with the parts I already have. I was going to put a new white stealth in the new gold pan and not mess with the 6 gear but now I might reconsider.

I had that on one also. The blue will definitely need to be removed, kinda a clash.scr8p wrote:i was running that rc10 front wheel conversion before it was cool.

The 2.2 conversion is slowly killing my hope for decent tires being made for the original wheels. At least the steering conversion is a decent price. That will save me $30 over the A&L version.
The black bits make me hope for a Team Car version. I'd have to pick up one to stick a nice, hand wound mod motor in.

This is all both good and bad, good cause there is a possibility of a Team car.. I can dream right.. But the bad is my wife is going to be mad cause I may have too spend the money to build another car.

Wait a minute! This means there may still be hope for new Stealth Trans parts

that's why there's stealth holes already in the new tubs.janaya wrote:Wait a minute! This means there may still be hope for new Stealth Trans parts

Still need a milled chassis but with the steering, they have chopped the heads off any aftermarket planning on jumping back in
if we see worlds towers (not aftermarket) the chassis is sure to follow

Disappointed that the solution for 2.2 fronts wheels is GT axles, instead of making wheels with the correct offset.
I suppose it was easier to re-use the molds for the old B4 bearing front and TT Phoenix BXII rear rims.

Sorry I'm a newbie and just figured they were there to be era correct, but now it's all starting to make sense.

The original rc10 didn't have stealth holes drilled so it wouldn't be era correct anyway.janaya wrote:scr8p wrote:that's why there's stealth holes already in the new tubs.janaya wrote:Wait a minute! This means there may still be hope for new Stealth Trans parts
