NIB Rally Weapon Build
Picked this up the other day, box is a little rough and not sealed, but everything is there unopened.
Why is there a Mugen MBX-4RR parts list in here?
Unfortunately the belts are completely rotted, but that was expected, new belts are already on the workbench.

I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

Re: NIB Rally Weapon Build
I think I nearly bought that very kit!
Sweet.
I finally managed to get myself a new built Street Weapon for NZ$100,so happy witht that!
Are you gonna run it,or shelf it?
They look like a fun car to drive.

I'm really bad at shelfing things, it's a weakness of mine.
The rolling chassis is done, need to do some painting now.

Re: NIB Rally Weapon Build
Do you know if rally weapon used a shorter chassis? Same as street weapon? How about suspension, same as street weapon? Reason for asking is I got a job lot of parts and wondering what pieces are needed when I start ordering spares for rebuild. If RW and SW share suspension that might make things easier.

Cool, so rally specific rear hubs and longer shocks. Should be easy enough...

Plus the rally block style tires. That's really it. I'm a sucker for rally cars, have it sitting next to my TC3 Rally conversion. It's just so much fun to be able to fly across a parking lot, jump a curb and drift around a baseball diamond, all with the same car.

Re: NIB Rally Weapon Build
I agree. Rally cars to me anyway, exemplify the whole fun aspect of running rc cars. My most used and enjoyed rc cars were tamiya rally ta01 cars, and 4wd buggies that were slammed low for handling, then bashed unmercifully on varied terrain. I never did get to the rw build or xx4 restoration yet,, but perhaps this spring.
