Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

I called the Associated customer support number today and talked to a representative named Allen, he stated they are still limited edition and only making 3500 of them total.

Curious. I sure hope to get at least one!

I say everyone here should get one free.We helped the RC10 push more than anyone group!!!! This site alone is keeping the hobby industry afloat.If everyone posted how much theyve spent on rcs alone itd probably pay the deficit off.don

Tower has quite the listing of parts loaded into their system with prices. It looks like everything will be available.

yea tower will list items only to say "available oct" in sept then "available nov" in oct then "available dec" in nov, exc....

Why would Associated and their largest distributor go through all the trouble to create part numbers, prices, pictures, ect if they weren't going to have them available? When has AE ever produced a kit and not had parts support for it?

One UK outlet is now stating expected 19th September, Tower Hobbies states mid September.

I'm seriously thinking about dropping my pre-order from two to one, I wasn't into RC at the time so its not so nostalgic buying for me, and with two team cars in rebuild I don't have the same desire for the gold re-re as many here.
