Love this - really getting into the early touring carsslow_jun wrote:i got these ( Accumulated ), never run Kit has lotsa hopup ( Team Suzuki /top/etc parts), and spare TS parts, all from fellow members here ( except the Wheels and rims), twas a gift for my Son, but after seeing the condition, I think I may get him another cheapo drift car. its too good to be bashed.
The TS Front Bulkhead was a long shot so I got busted, it will fit but the front kick up Is to low so did not install it.

I didn't get this in the mail but I did pick it up from my parents house today. I think I ordered it out of the back of RC Car Action magazine in the 80's. It was still in the bottom of their book case where I left it.

The video is hilarious now. But when I got it when I was 12, It was one of the only RC videos out and I watched it about 100 times.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Big day for post today......
Firstly, got an order from Bullfrog Bearings Incorporated..... flanged bearings for my Schumacher Wildcats, front wheel bearings for my Losi Strike rebuild, and a Tamiya M03L chassis extension piece, to go with one of my M03 racers and my new BMW Mini Cooper shell.... thanks Rob!
Second up was a big lot from the one seller, which included "a roller RC12", a Traxxas 4Tec, and two McAllister bodies unpainted. The RC12, which I was expecting to be an 'i', turned out to be a RC12LS, with box, instructions, and spare bits and bobs..... and a nice carbon fibre chassis! Nice!
The Traxxarse 4TEc was exactly what I expected it to be...... a basic 1:10 touring chassis. For the price, though, I am very happy.... it will get a full set of gear, a nice body, and maybe some drift rims, and then it will be ready to boogie!
The final item was two unpainted McAllister bodies.... when I first saw this, I thought I was on a huge winner, as I need a 235mm body for my Daytona.... but I delved a little deeper, and it now seems that while these are indeed nice bodies, they may not be exactly what I'm looking for..... my mistake for not knowing what a McAllister 200mm Blue Grass Late Model body was! Oh well..... trade bait or sell them on later.....
Either way, not a bad day!
Alex

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I've returned after temporarily banning myself from here to focus on work! While I may have banned myself from drooling over all the projects going on here and working on my own cars I never stopped looking for parts on e-Bay.
A few of my favorites scores here.
Two Leisure 05 Roar legal stockers new in the package. Picked up the pair for $9.00. These will go straight into the two RC12E's I have planned.

All for my 10L project which is about to go through a major change.

This should restore nicely. I have a new set of trinity brushes for this motor too. I should be able to repair the label as well.

Full set of 1/12 Paragon Center Lines new in the package for $9.99. These are for my 12E funny car project. Can't wait to get started!
