RC10T T2 and GT
Hi
I am starting a new thread. I was already deriving toward this question in another one but that way I may reach more people.
I am wondering about the compatibility in parts between the RC10T and T2. I am looking through my catalogs and manuals (I don't have the trucks though... well half of one) and it seems that the two trucks share some parts... with the GT as well. I want to make myself a good basher truck and I don't mind if the parts are not the original ones I just want them to fit!
So few questions... Comparing the T and T2
The stealth tranny gears, are they the same? I know the cases are different but what about the gears...
The front shock tower 7214 (T) vs 7215 (T2) are they switchable?
The front A arms have the same number although they are different in the picts in my book(7206). So I assume they are switchable... What about the rear A arms? They have different numbers (7355 T and 7354 T2)
What about the RC10 and B2 do they share parts too?
Thanks for any help. Comparative picts would be good too!
I love this board!

So the gears are different... The whole tranny is different then! are the GT gears the same as the T2 or original Stealth?
are the gears in the T2 the same as for the T3 and T4? I am asking because I have never been interested in anything else than aluminum in RC... The newer "graphite" chassis looks plastic to me But I recently discovered that the T2 has a METAL chassis! Like the old RC10 and I have a project in mind...
Thanks for the info...

6571 - topshaft /stealth - all except b4-t4
6570 - idler - rc10, rc10t, rc10gt
6580 - diff gear - rc10, rc10t
7664 - diff gear - rc10gt
9360 - idler - b2, b3, t2, t3
9365 - diff gear - b2, b3, t2, t3
the b4, t4 trans is completely different.
7206 - front arms - rc10t, t2, gt
7354 - rear arms - rc10t, t2, gt
the other thing to realize is, all of the trannies have different outdrives, diff rings, and slipper setups, too. also, the idler gear in the b2, b3, t2, t3, does not have the shaft to support the gear. that is a seprate piece.
or, just buy this and save yourself the hassle.
