RC10T2 Protoform Rambunctious
I've been wanting to build one of these for quite some time now and have been stocking up on build parts while waiting for a somewhat decent chassis & nose plate to pop up. My patience dwindled over the last 6 months so I just grabbed something to get started The chassis/nose is OK to use for now and if nothing better pops up I'll probably have them powdercoated or something or decide to go custom CF on the chassis/nose. The Protoform body and a Jammin t2 popped up at just the right time too so it was time to start building. It's almost new at this point, I plan to grab some upgrades like RPM arms, Lunsford turnbuckles, MIP CVD's & etc with new electronics. I'm really digging this truck, hope to finish soon so I can drive it this summer sometime

Re: RC10T2 Protoform Rambunctious
Thanks guys! Still much to do yet, but it's getting there
It's a Protoform Rambunctious body of a gen2 Dodge Ram, the detail in it is amazing. I wish they still made it. I was thinking about doing a classic Dodge/Mopar theme or possibly a Redbull/Dodge theme for it? I haven't really decided. I'm doing the paint masks this weekend so I'll be ready to paint Monday. The other body is really cool too, you don't see too many Jammin's anymore. I'll pop that on and post a photo. I won't run either of those bodies though, just for the shelf. Hopefully, I'll get a different body or t2 repro to run with.

Here's the Jammin' T2 #J-207... kind of looks like a hybrid T2-T3. It's pretty neat too, I've never seen it in person before this

I'm sure there is one out there. I replaced my old nose plate with a new purple anodized one I found about 8 months ago.

Thanks! My nose isn't bad at all, it's the chassis itself that annoys me especially that giant *&%$@# hole in the side I'll probably go the powder coat route, but the more and more I think about this truck the more I want to make my own chassis and nose out of CF.

Re: RC10T2 Protoform Rambunctious
Finally have one of the bodies done, did this one 2-tone with some silver and white here and there. I chickened out on painting the graphics so those are exterior vinyl. I think it came out pretty good I'd like to pick up a stock t2 body to run with though. The Flour yellow stuff had to go, it didn't jive with the paint so I swapped bits with the Andy's truck I picked up some Lunsfords and RPM cups and they're installed now too. Besides a new chassis, decent servo and BL electronics, not too much left to do

Thanks man!hawgfanman wrote:Love it! Gotta dig the Mopar paint scheme!
Small update... I FINALLY scored the MIP BB steering #1080 NIP so I say goodbye to the stock non-BB set-up I suppose I could swap-in in a Castle combo with a Hitec servo of mine and run it, but I think I'll wait until I have a dedicated system and a runner body. Hopefully before summer ends

Nice on the BB sterring! I've tried to find one and had little luck. I'm running a RC10GT setup and it is so so. I dont have a lot of clearence on the top, so I'm nervous the lock nuts won't hold at some point.
