Well, since I didn't get a box or manual I'm building this one...blind. Not too many places things can go, and I pray nothing is missing! C&M replied to my email and said they don't keep ANY archives. Doh!

Here is the plan for wheels and tires. AJ's tires on (I think) TRC wheels. Need to find some fronts. Also showing the Airtronics servo, Novak receiver, and Buds (no BRP here!) motor

Does that use 1/10 scale wheels or will 1/8 scale fit? I think a big 1/8 scale brushless motor and a 6s LiPo would fill that void perfectly.

What body do you have for it?

The wheels are 1/10 and they recommend using untrued donuts and then "just take a little off" making them larger than 1/10 but smaller than a true 1/8. The AJ's will work nicely and I love the Goodyear logos. I am looking for an older Parma stock car body preferably but it's not easy to find this era of 1/8 onroad body. If I do a typical GTP or sports car body the tire logos will have to go away. Bolink body mounts will fit well and be era correct but I don't know the length until I source a body.

O cool! That helps. The Porsche 962 is a maybe. Probably not the "Camaro Corvette" tho lol.

Never knew that even existed but this is AWESOME! I can imagine it with sauced tires and a sensored 6S setup... a BIG wing and a VERY light throttle finger

Thank you for the link, that helps me date it quite a bit! I never really considered that they would use 12 cells on these, I figured it was just an oval arrangement I'm pretty sure with just a standard six cell and a hot mod motor it would be plenty fast! It doesn't weigh any more than the 10L!

I spoke to the original owner today and he says it came with a 1/8 lumina body. I would assume parma. So that's what I'm looking for! It's going to be tough tho

Really nice and rare car.
The old TRC wheels are a perfect choice for this car. I like the BBS style of these wheels also their larger diameter are perfect.
I personally maybe would go with full wide rear wheels for an even better look, if you can find them. But that´s just my personal taste, no critics.

BTW, beside TRC there were also very similar wheels from Twinn-K. Not exactly the same, but BBS style again and same dimensions.
