Am thinking of adding these wheels, which are definitively a bit odd-ball, but what to do with the rest?

Heck, maybe just leave it exactly as it is. Real time capsule there. :D

What the heck is wrong with those tires?! They look like corn cobs with all the kernels eaten off.

my guess is silicone on them for traction. I've gotten a few home brewed siliconed foam sets done up like that.

My vote would be to clean it up and do a little running with it. I'd start by removing that paint(if its paint and not dye) from the wheels.

That bumper would be the first to go too

You're right Todd, the tyres are foam that have been coated in wet silicon. They actually come like that. They are vintage 'AJs'.

The wheels look to be dyed, but I guess I could add more dye and make them black. :?:

The wing is going to get the 'autosol' treatment to give it some real shine!

Choices, choices, choices.....

My problem is that you guys have produced sooooooo many awesome creations with the RC10, that it's tough to avoid ending up with a variant/copy of a look that has already been done! LOL!

That would be #1 in the hard part  .

The more I look at those wheels the more they grow on me. If the body didn't match they would look alot better I think. I think if they contrasted instead of matched they would rock...and I'm not a big fan of red so thats gotta say something. If you wanted black would be an option and those wheels take dye very well but thats totally up to you. For some reason the first time I looked at them I was thinking paint because of the deep color

That wing is great. Picked up a similar one from a member here and can't figure out what to put it on. You've got some nice hopups sitting there though.

I've seen a few on ebay but couldn't tell you who right off hand. More of a general wing though instead of an RC10 wing IIRC.

That's a gem. I would just clean it up. I would leave the colour of the wheels if you want a unique look. Maybe redo the paint scheme with that same colour as an accent colour.

I think the large bumper and wing definitely and original electronics add character.
