My poor attempt at a WOIN. It's a TQ chassis with kyosho shocks. I'm currently using a HW esc with a 2500kv HW BL motor. It not super fast, but it'll done for now. I do plan on using a 14x2 brushed with nimh batteries of course. The front tower is a "cut up" B3 tower bolted to the front blocks. I used B3 25*caster blocks with RC10 inline spindles and long FT blue axles. They don't appear to be the long GT axles though. The spindles were raised all the way up with shims. I get zero bump steering. My ride height is approx. 20mm front and back and 250mm wide in front and 248mm in back. I'm planning on modding the front nose to use a 10T tower and bulkhead with Klien arms both front and back. The current tires were only used to test it down the street. Comments, concerns, suggestions are welcomed. Not sure how it'll do at the track, but I should know something next week, if we don't get anymore rain! Yucky.
Lately I've developed (re-developed) a bit of a stadium truck fetish. My buddy and I had a pair of stadium trucks briefly when we were in college. I had a Losi LXT that I bought used with my high school graduation money, and not long after he bought...

This week I made a little bit of progress. I'm using the original chassis for now until I can find a better one. I want to find an earlier B stamp with only the offset holes, but for now, this one is going to suffice. It's pretty clean, and would be...
I don't know if any of you spotted this poor CAT on ebay a few weeks ago? Well i felt so sorry for it that i bought it.. I'm a sucker for punishment i know..
The bad taste continued under that shell. The stickers are everywhere!

You'll be suprised what the Procat is capable when set up for the race track. I have really enjoyed the time I have spent driving mine at the track and Im sure you would too.
Great build and great resurection of what could have been a long forgotten...
I recently dug my old RC10s out of the basement and have put one together. I have a new battery and a new engine that I bought myself for christmas.
I am using an old novak receiver and an old novak T1 speed controller. The new engine is a trinity...

Just start fresh on your solder connections. You probably have a cold joint that is limiting the transfers of power and overloading the esc. Make sure you are using good solder (ie. deans) with flux and a hot iron. I my experiences, this should...
Every Friday I and my wife pack our car so we can leave for our country house directly after work. This time we had a big paper bag with newly washed towels and bed sheets and two bags with our personally things. And at the bottom of the bag we had...

But all this is my one fault; I shouldn’t left things in my car!
Your fault? I don't think so. Granted, in this day in age leaving valuables inside you car is probably not the best idea, but that still doesn't make it your fault that some...
Here are a few pics of the Ultima I bought back in the day. It's been sitting for about 10 years now but after seeing Mr.ED's threads about his Ultima's, that has kind of goaded me into getting mine running. I'm going to take it to a few...

Sadly I haven't. I was in Germany for 2 weeks then back in town this week then I'm going to be out of town 2 more weeks. My aim is to run it on the 29th at a local race. The Lazer will be getting a workout then as well :) I'll get some pics of that...
The Wild One is by far my favorite of the old tamiya buggies (isn't it everyones?), but it is way out of my budget to acquire one (especially to run and possibly need spares for). So, much like the Poor guy's Sand Scorchers that everyone built prior...

I've checked out the selection of sheet metal at the local Lowe's, but have no idea what the alloy is. It'd probably be fine, but I may look at another local metal supplier before buying. My first prototype folded out of cardstock was looking good....
Wanting a sand scorcher but dont have the mucho $$ for one? Well here is one for us poor folk
Pretty simple really, 1 grasshopper, some brat rubber and rims, blitzer beetle lid and some craftiness.
