Black "A" stamp?

Post by GoMachV »

I know there were companies later on that did different color parts for associated cars, but was there ever a factory black "A" stamp? As far as the timelines I have seen and my many years of knowledge there is no such animal from associated. :?:

I've bought a couple of lots from that seller now and he seems legit. Has been listing some very hard to find NIP parts.

If it's listed on ebay, then it has to be legit. Right?

I think he meant $35

I bought my new black A stamp for like $30, it was originally 6 gear only but was drilled for stealth.

I didn't drill it, the previous owner did and at least they did a good job.

$350 is a bit rich though.

I'm sure I've seen a black A stamp with stealth hole's somewhere, did they not make one as well.

Time to start anodising some A stamps to see a ten fold profit in that case.

Asso_man has a early, un-restored A stamp 6035. Drilled for the stealth-

It would be impossible to tell. Especially if it was out of the pack. Getting something anodised black is so easy. Why pay ten times more?

There's why you got it for only $30....

...and I'm just poking fun. ;)

BTW shouldn't this be in the BST forums?

Yep, here's where I got burned for something similar a while back on fleabay.

repackaged "TQ70" tires

Note: end result was that payscrew decided in his favor! They were NIP and that was it. More proof in my fight that payscrew are scumbags.

But it all worked out because I only have my payscrew account linked by a credit card, so I denied the charge, problem solved! Suck it a-hole fleabay seller!
