Worst Case Scenarios

Post by FasterLouder »

We've all seen cars that have you baffled at what the builder was thinking,I want to see the worst of the worst cars you've seen and/or owned!
Here are a few hum dingers to get the ball rolling.
The first is a broken RC10 Graphite chassis that someone bolted JRX2 mechanicals to,the chassis snapped right at the front kickup.
And a Losi XXX CR body just for kicks.
I actually bought this car for parts and it was BAD *shudder*.

The second is/was a Kyosho Ultima Outrage that someone tried to 'improve' by making a home made alloy chassis, somehow adapting a slipper clutch to and some truck front arms.
To quote the builder "the wide front end makes it really stable"!
And that ESC is just scary looking.
It's actually for sale,I pity the fool who buys it.

Ha Ha. I saved this pic from an eBay auction some time ago and thought it was a bit of an eye saw. I have no idea what those pipes are for. Air cooling an esc perhaps.

Suction cups? For better adherence to the track (although, considering their position, maybe it's just a RC vacuum cleaner...)

My apologies for stealing so much attention from your thread with this crazy contraption. Although it's not as 'hodge podge' as the cars you've put up it leaves me wondering just WHY people do these things to these cars. No doubt they aren't experienced and they employ the concept that anything goes.

As crazy as it may sound I have been toying with the idea of building some kind of abomination from what ever parts I have in my spares bins. I have been thinking of building something so rediculous that I am not sure it would actualy even move. Almost like a junk pile on wheels. Alloy plate, wood screws, plexi glass, drinking straws.....LOL!

Now there ought to be a contest to see who can build something of this calibre. It would be good for a laugh.
