'93 Yokomo With A Twist
So, I took a chance on this and was rewarded ...
Full Fiber-lyte conversion, including a carbon fiber tub! Sure the upper deck is broken (I already have a new one on the way) and the long belt is missing (already have 1), but everything else is in decent shape. I think those are Losi shocks? Lots of loose hardware that will need to be snugged up, but all the tough to find stuff is there.

That fiber-lyte chassis is sweet! Those peak performance rims are quite unique as well. The coolest yz10 rims ever were the LRP bbs mesh though. Nice find brian!

I'll have to keep my eyes open for a set of those BBS style wheels.
Thanks for the compliments. I kinda feel like won the R/C lottery on this one ...

Re: '93 Yokomo With A Twist
Can't wait to see the tub alone and cleaned, are there any scratches on the bottom?

Re: '93 Yokomo With A Twist
Didn't Peak Performance make 6-spoke rims for the yz10 that looked like these too though? Perhaps the PP ones were slightly different.prp wrote:There're PROCAR wheels from PROCAR Swedish R/c store...

Hi Erik,
I hope they are still in business! Their site is pretty old and on their new site they show printings for Shirts and Cars and so on. Maybe they have some old stock they would sell to Japan.
If you need any assistence please let me know.
Cheers
Seb

The tub bottom is in remarkable shape. It must have been raced on a very smooth surface!

Re: '93 Yokomo With A Twist
Here she is, all gussied up. I was starting to wondering if there was a car under all the grime!
Received a new top deck from Fiber-lyte, new tires from Bormac , Pro Yokomo shocks and that nifty blue NIKI's aluminum motor mount. I'll paint the wing black some day and the body should lose the worse for wear stickers and be polished up.
Only thing I'm looking for ... a new or like new front bumper. Any one?

That is one gorgeous car. Excellent work! The carbon fiber parts are amazing looking.
