Repro Works 91 bodyshell?

Post by ralphee »

Is there any chance of such a thing ever arising? The front bulges aside, its still a completely different animal to any of the later bodies....the side angles are the big one....a much sleaker profile, and no double facet on the "panniers".........anybody got any plans to have one reproduced?

I gues if anyone had a nip original, sent it to tbg and explained the diferances they would probably reproduced it but I reckon that's the only chance. I asked Jay on a number of occasions over the years but he had no intentions of doing this body.

Maybe Penguin or Marwan would be interested in a low volume body?

Its a big risk i guess with a NIP shell, you don't see them come up often at all. Its a shame, be nice to have one out there.

I don't think the TBG body has the bumps at the front to clear the top deck screws.

 NIP? I think I'd be knocking on his door to get that back.

Aaron you lucky dog lol, ok, just look at the side pods, on a 94 shell, there is a double facet angle, on the 91, it slopes off and drops into the body sidewall, huge difference in that alone!

It wasn't nip but in excellent condition, apart from a small claims action there is not a lot I can do.

I really thought I was looking at the two front tear drops on the TBG body! But after a much closer look...........maybe just a shadow or he removed them.
