Thanks for the tip, I’m pretty sure it’s CA. I’m going to start the resto this weekend, if the chassis clean-up goes well the rest should be a breeze.

Finally got back on this project…

The chassis brace was very poorly glued, I was concerned the chassis/brace was scrap. Fortunately the acetone method worked wonders, totally made my day (I placed the chassis in a plastic bag and submerged it for about 45 min). Thanks again for the tip! I should have taken before/after pics.

Now that the chassis hurdle is out of the way I have motivation to get this thing finished and off the bench (at least until the next distraction comes along ). I also ordered a new body/under tray/wing from Blue Groove.
