The technigold had a gold housing, hence the name but you're on the right track: apart from that the construction looks identical.
Graupner was selling one of these : same 540VX or whatever it was number. I think I still have the gold can that would fit on this somewhere in the basement I believe.

I was out of duct tape and needed to hold it together for the "foil contest"

Edit: I figured out the arm, it's a back for the Red Ultima.

there's actually at least 2 versions of the red-ultima rear arm. I don't have mine anymore, butI remeber the cut-outs in the arm were a different shape or orientation the arms I saw ont the cars from other members here.rangerg wrote: Edit: I figured out the arm, it's a back for the Red Ultima.
