Early RC10 CE build

Post by marlo »

I've been wanting to build an early CE, and until recently, I acquired the rest of the parts (thank you Brian). I thought I would share the build with you guys over the next little while. So for now, here are some of the parts I will be using:

A very clean, once built, never ran A-stamped chassis (will be a solid foundation)
Other parts will either be NIP, or parts that I have removed from an extra graphite kit I have
TQ-71/21 tire combo, four hole front shock tower
0.56/1.32 bottom loader shocks

The misc. white parts have just gone through a hydrobath and a five day water detox (changing water twice a day). It figures, the sun comes out when I am ready to build, but while the parts are in the bath, overcast for two weeks. They are not where I want them to be, may do a second attempt in the summer.

Enjoy the build! More to come later.

That looks wonderful. Looking forward to seeing that build completed.

Very little progress today, due to hangover, no sleep and home repairs at my parents house. Started off building the 6 gear tranny, one of the things I hate most doing (stealth is much more simple) and some front work. That's it for me today. I am going to go join my lazy coworkers as shown below.

I did a power build yesterday and got it all done. I think it came out really well! I have the Cadillac wing, protech 2 body and Cadillac gear cover but I am not going to cut them.
