Good ol rocket powered RC cars, I've built a few throughout the years. There have been some pretty funny videos of rocket cars on you tube.

Not an RC10 but here's one I made years ago, at least most of the parts were Associated.

i had a bunch of vids of it at one point but the site i uploaded it all to is long gone

had some good vids hitting the rocket off a ramp and using diffrent size motors



i did find the old motor mount i used the other day, and the servo with the needle still attached lol
so i may do another one and get some vids

def will do a buggy this time (way less weight than the huge truck tires)

more rocket assisted or rocket boosted than rocket powered

with the standard avail rocket motors there really is not much of a speed boost from a dead stop (like most of the rocket cars you see on youtube)

now from a rolling start you really notice a boost in speed

in the vid above the car only had a 27turn green machine motor on some crappy nicad 1500 bats once the rocket lit it was at least if not faster than a low turn rated brush less on good bats

What size motors did you use? D's and E's were the only thing readily available here.

There was video of a rocket powered truck running a two stage set up, I wonder if they are still getting around.

You needed to put something like a brick behind a rocket powered car to get the most out of it, but you'd still be surprised how quick and far they'd go without.

at the time it was what ever hobby lobby had
i used e motors in the end (you can see i started wuith a smaller tube for the smaller motors then ubgraded to a larger tube for tyhe d/e motors)

but my local hobby store has the arotech motors right now
at 52$ its a bity pricey but i wanna try a i motor
