Body: Jrx2 - There are curves in Your car chassis on both sides of servo (compare to JrxPro chassis) and You should cut the Jrx2 body about correctly from rear end (except rear shock should be "open") and so that the curves in Jrx2 body and chassis will fit together. Front end of the body should be made a little longer than the cutting lines are (I have a better picture coming from this to "my page"TheSpeedway wrote:Good Point - Race cars big and small change between and sometimes during every race.
If this car had the correct front end as it is suspected it would have raced what would that look like?
Does this appear to be the correct body for a car like this? I found TBG's reproduction on the internet and they say in their ad that its an Aftermarket Losi body.

Front end: JrxPro, except front axels should not have that set screw. Some other differences?

Re: Losi Double X & JRX Prototype in three days
Mark, really interesting pictures
. The part between battery and servo was totally different than I thought and in pictures in "my page": http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=25299 , see photos "Chassis photo 1-5 *". That part was made from one nylon piece and then the pictures from Jack's, Ron's, Mike's and Mark's are just a bit too inaccurate to see that part clear enough. Also small difference is the side rail mounting screws to rear bulkhead. On Jack's and Ron's cars they are in a row but on Yours they are on top of each other. BTW are those screws countersunk screws? Can we have a few more pictures from this part taken from rear to front?
Then You have the right ESC for car

These cleaner/closer images makes me believe that it could be one of our chassis'. I'll forward this to my buddy here at work and get his opinion now.
Cool stuff.

Re: Losi Double X & JRX Prototype in three days
After looking at these pics closer, I'm wondering if that's a Litesink because it doesn't have the flat are for the heatsink to screw to...or the heatsink itself?
Could it be a Losi plate machined and drilled like a Litesink and anodized blue?

Re: Losi Double X & JRX Prototype in three days
Hi, The JRX2 Proto is sitting untouched waiting for clean up and some proper rear rolling stock. I wont do anything to it until I can make sure I do it right. I would like to run this thread past that list of factory drivers listed earlier to see if they have knowledge of this car.slapshot1979 wrote:So what did you do this car?
