MRC Q-tee 4wd Street to Off-road mod.

Post by zyplex »

Here's my old Q-Tee (MRC/Academy) 4wd R/C. I transformed it from street rod to off-road basher. The Q-tee was made by Academy Models and distributed by MRC. The Q-Tee is basically the same as the Academy Wyvern 4wd. Enjoy the photos and thanks for your comments.

I like that original chassis! But then again, I did the opposite of what you did...I took a 4WD off-roader and turned it into a muscle-car on-roader. 8)

Oh man you should have left it alone as they're pretty rare, and cool looking to boot!

No worry, the mods are few and completely reversible. I have all the original parts stored.

I like the result of the conversion.
While the original body is nice, I don't like how it fits the buggy. Keep it for a nice on-roader with realistic wheel stance.

All the ones I've ever come across have gone for way more. Good score!

I've got two of these, one sealed and one only partially built. Looking through get rid of both if someone is interested.
