I don't think I had ever seen this race before - amazing drive by both guys.
It sure looks like Brian could have pulled away a bit, if he ever got by Masami.

Looks like Masami was running the standard tub Worlds Car. Did he only run the 'stealth' variants in the '89 and '91 Worlds events?

Although, I suppose in '95 he was running a B2...

Looking at that shot of the line-up reminds me that there's just nothing better looking than a 1/10th scale 2WD buggy. And man are they dialed or what??! I try to picture it as if I was on that track with 'em and it would really screw up the flow of the racing if they had to go around my flipped car every other lap.
