Daytona 500
Gotta say, one of the benefits of a) Australia's new digital tv setup, and b) working from home, is that I can watch the Daytona 500 live at home!
Anybody else watching?

Re: Daytona 500
what do you me by "watching" exactly? i take that as you're still watching it, but it's been over for 4+ hrs.

Damn you, man! Burst my bubble, why don't you.....scr8p wrote:what do you me by "watching" exactly? i take that as you're still watching it, but it's been over for 4+ hrs.

The broadcast started here at about 9:30am, which was three and a half hours ago..... and they're only at about lap 120 I think. So much for "live"...
Oh well, I'm still going to watch...... so don't spoil it by telling me who won!

Re: Daytona 500
I agree with a01brutal..... Danica's burnout was awesome...... 3rd or 4th to 8th in the last few laps. Was good to see her interviewed at the end too.... she was trying to say that nobody helped her, but then realised she had to admit to 'a little bit of help'.....
Shame about Marcos Ambrose..... he seemed in a good place in 5th with about 25 to go..... but seemed a little flat at the end.
Good race, I enjoyed it.

Re: Daytona 500
I used to not be much a fan of Danica...
But because she is a local hero here and this:
I gained a whole new respect for her!!

Ever since those Sports Illustrated photos came out, I find myself cheering for her to win now... Don't know why?

Sploosh!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
