Re: Used Optima Mid SE
Nice Mid Meanee, you don't see many SE's.
Paint those windows black, for a more box art look, which will hide those wires!

Re: Used Optima Mid SE
That looks like a really nice SE and brings back memories of my SE that I bought new in 89.
Wish I kept it <sigh>
I will be building an SE up from scratch in the very near future not I nearly have all the bits here

I have a pair of them. Both of mine have the carbon chassis kit and one has been converted to an oval car.

Re: Used Optima Mid SE
This brings back memories. I wish I still had mine.
I notice that there are plain threaded camber/toe links on yours. Did it come to you like that? Mine had turnbuckles.
Cheers,
Michael.

Re: Used Optima Mid SE
Of the 3 SWB Mids, only the Turbo Mid came with turnbuckles, the standard Mid and the SE both came with the plain tie rods.

Ahh thanks Keith, my memory failed me!
I had an SE and a Turbo. I think what I did was put the Turbo turnbuckles on the SE. Along with the Gold shocks...
Cheers,
Michael.
Re: Used Optima Mid SE
The Mid is completely standard. normal turnbuckles were on it.
Hey Keith it has a Le mans 240st motor.
I kinda like seeing what going on under the body. Im not gona paint the windows.

Re: Used Optima Mid SE
Yeah, my mystake. I had actually modded mine and forgot about it.
I loved my Mid SE with the 240ST in it. The night I finished building it, I charged up a brand new 1700SCE and tore up my backyard!
Cheers,
Michael.
