they look for the large diff rings to me. did '93 WCS come with the large diff rings with older outdrives?

Yes, sort of. Large diff rings, "different" outdrives

masami's WCS chassis had 3 extra holes under the motor and spur gear, then one more like this.
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=15520&start=71

but i started with this nice chassis made after DerbyDan's original one. i like the chassis very much and i can do the weight saving job later.

i won the japanese yahoo auction, and the seller got 2 more sets i bought together
IMG_8358.jpg
this has done very quickly. i won another yahoo japan auction for YR-4 parts, bought m2 parts from ebay.co.uk. but i couldn't find any magnesium rear bulkhead. this molded bulkhead will be replaced soon
IMG_8359.jpg
IMG_8360.jpg
and took some old turnbuckles off my rc10 runner. now the rc10 got blue ones
IMG_8364.jpg
and i ruined this weight saving job. there was a small extra hole in the arm and couldn't pick the right place for the new holes
IMG_8366.jpg
one of the front arms then

and i don't want to drill the another arm anymore

on the front outdrives, there were lots of different YR-4 with different pulleys and i though i could find a combo but didn't work yet. i'll try some different outdrives from hpi, tech racing, and tamiya they made some cars after yokomo and some of them had almost identical front diff assembly.

Wow - you don't hang around! Great work so far! 8)

I will get onto those sizes that you have asked for - I have already drawn a 'Masami' spec top deck based on the part from my original car, which bizarrely is slightly different in profile to the one I had Fibrelyte make from a profile that they already had on file :? Hyeong - PM me your e'mail address & I'll send over the files (will PDF be ok?) so that you can print them our full size

Great to see my old chassis being put to good use 8)
