Yep, those are Tamiya shocks. I got them on clearance. They seem to be really nice shocks.

Holy cow that truck looks really nice man. I am really digging the low profile of this this truck and I bet it will run fantastic. This definately has been a long build, so long in fact I cannot remember exactly what you asked me to help with.
Thanks for the pics.

Nice truck (current one)!
I like the simplicity of the flat black and mix of upgrades.

Hay MelvinsArmy, I have a question to ask of you. What are the pro and cons of the ttr's cvd and a stock axle to the txt-1?

Re: Tamiya Juggernaut 3
Hey flash, the straight axle for the rear is cool because it helps make locking the rear out much easier and more efficient. The CVDs are more efficient at transferring power than the stock setup, although I don't know if it's enough to notice a difference. They also make for a good built in wheel widener, I believe each side is 1/4" wider than stock, so 1/2" overall. Honestly, I don't know that they're worth the price, but they are cool parts and I imagine much stronger than stock. Not that the stock pieces break easily.

I wanted to ask, how you like the RC4wd Wheels and tires? I love the way they look, and bet they would look great "Scrubbed in".

Re: Tamiya Juggernaut 3
They're really nice actually. Some of the nicest aluminum wheels I've ever seen and I've owned just about every brand at one point or another. They are a bit on the heavy side.
