maybe moody(?) tires. Look like alot of front tires I've seen on older sprint cars. johnboy72 had a bunch of tires f/s awhile back with pix. Might still be a thread left of his sprint cars somewhere in the 'other makes/models' section under this topic.

i have imex tires that aren't branded. i don't know if those are or are not imex, but don't think they're not just because imex isn't on the sidewall.

I know the thread you're talking about but unfortunately all the images are dead links. :?

Was looking at the old Mini-mag catalog in the scans archive and the MRC Chevron pattern is similar but not the same. Plus I think they're all 2" ID.

Pattern looks like an old IMEX tire but there doesn't appear to be any branding on the sides like an IMEX tire would have. They're mounted on 1.6" wheels.

Backing on this one. No writing on the walls on mine - in this tread: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=27601&start=15
At least a good possibility on these Tamiyas.

Hello All, here is something new to look at. I got these shocks on the front of a vintage 1/8 buggy. Does any one know who made them? They are kind of strange. They are not oil filled. It looks like it has some sort of chamber system to provide dampening. Anyone have any ideas?

gomachv, It looks like you are right. I downloaded the Big Brute manual it seems that these are same shocks. With these shocks I guess the Big Brute handled like a grasshopper.

slapshot1979 - It looks like an aluminum rim. From the color and style my guess would be Technicraft.
