Re: Dual Brushless Clodbuster from Goldrush
All I can say is WOW! Love this truck. Had a little servo saver issue but that's not the truck. Took it to the track, let someone play around with the beast a bit. Axles held up fine, after turning down the drag brake and the punch.
I didn't think it would turn that well, but it handled surprisingly well. I realized it's an entirely different driving style so that'll take a little getting used to but wow. Jumps awesome, doesn't roll over. One of the guys at the track thinks it handles better than his emaxx LOL.

showed the wife the vids...she never thought a clod could fly despite me saying it was considered a full race version. much like myself she is glad to see that its up and going and that your happy with the clodzilla....she is finally starting to understand the hobby...or someone switched the wife out for and understanding woman

do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

HAHA too funny GoldRush.
Yeah, and because of the size of the track, you don't get to go full throttle much. Even the jumps were taken at about half throttle.
I'll tell you what, I'm officially a fan of those Toro/Trackstar systems.

Quick bashing video I took.

But then ran into doing something to a rim I've never done before. Completely spun one side of the rim off
LOL

oooo forgot to mention the guy i got it from was an avid crawler guy and liked to make custom wheels and tires. you may be able to glue it back together. that truck looks like its right at home durbing through the snow

yeah, these were glued and that's what happened. Easy fix. Plus I'm going to order new tires as well.

Yeah. I want to go up in teeth and then turn up the punch and timing. Currently the ESC and motor are set to zero punch and timing so there's a lot more power still in there, but it'd be bad on the gear boxes to do it with the gearing the way it is now.
