Flysky receiver problems
Flysky receiver problems
I have three Flysky receivers that have been sitting on the shelf and I went to use them today and all three of them have failed. Channel 1 is not working on all three and I tested two different tranmitters to see if it was a faulty transmitter. Has anyone else had any issues with this?

Re: Flysky receiver problems
Are you sure? I have a bunch and never had an issue. Did they bind okay? Does everything work with a different receiver / transmitter?

Re: Flysky receiver problems
I had an issue (perceived on my part) recently and went back to old school. I used a 4 AA battery old power source/switch from a nitro car long gone and 2 servos that I had as spares from various rescues. I swapped servos back and forth and came to the conclusion that channel 1 (steering) was bad. I didnt have a difference receiver to try, so I went through the transmitter setting, slowly and methodically. I found I had turned off the servo EPA settings (I really dont remember doing it). I adjusted it back up and everything started working just fine.
If every receiver is showing the same problem, it may be transmitter related?

I'm wondering if its the transmitter as well. The one I am using right now doesn't have many adjustments. Can't adjust the EPA on this one. I sold my nice tx with my T4 when I sold it.

Interesting. I can say I've yet to experience any issues, the things seem to be pretty bullet proof.
Would like to hear what happens. So what TX are you using?

Re: Flysky receiver problems
This is the first time I've had problems with mine. I've had my Flysky GTB3 for almost a year and a half. My daughter has a Flysky GT2. They are both doing the same thing. That's what has me thinking its the receivers.
Re: Flysky receiver problems
Figured out the problem with my radio. The dual rate knob has a wire that somehow tore almost in half on both radios. I snipped the wire and cut it clean then resolder it on and problem is fixed. Both radios now work just like they should.
