Why do they change things on the rerlease models? There is no rear glass in the kit.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the original did either.

As far as I know, only the Monster Beetle & Blitzer Beetle versions of the body had complete glass.

I think it may have been due to the design of the roof mounted rear body clip on the 'Scorcher.

I second that - I don't think it had rear glass because you need to be able to reach in and release the rear clip that goes on the roll bar.

Yes the rear was also open on the original version.
