Looking good so far. (Nice score on the bell crank, BTW)...Be sure to get a good Kimbrough servo saver. Servo gears are cheap, but a pain to keep replacing.

They're a little wider than stock, and not swept back as much. You need to run different ball links on the shock bottoms than the original RC10 type. I'm running stock arms in the rear.

I really need a set of those arms  This will be the motor of choice for now...Venom Fireball modified 21D...Why all the vintage stuff you ask ???? Because when i went back to my lhs there wasn't anyone there that could tell me what class types they are running for oval...They may not even have a bomber class so i will still build this car for oval and when i take it there to show them i will do my best to convince them that they should...Good thing is that i know some of the oval racers and i think that they will like the idea also...Rebuild this badboy give it a good clean , relube or replace the bearings , get some new brushes and it will be good as new....Magnets are still strong and the comm is not worn at all so there is still alot of life in this motor...

The bomber class here runs 13.5 brushless. I have a venom 15 turn in my TC4, and it'll really come to life with a Lipo in it. They're less than 20 bucks at Tower.

I see your point, but I figured in this day and time, ANYTHING brushed was considered vintage.

Tranny is rebuilt and back in the car...Everything in the trans was in perfect condition so i cleaned all the parts soaked the bearings overnight in motor clean then reoiled them...Went to everyones most hated place HOBBYTOWN and got a B4 top shaft , slipper pad , slipper spring , vented v2 slipper hub and JConcepts silent speed 48p 84t spur gear...WOOHOO that took forever  If the a arms would ever get here it would look like a rolling chassis...
