Mamba Monster calibration issues - help!
Hey fellas. My neighbor got a used E-Revo with a mamba monster/2200 combo. It didnt come with a radio so I offered to let him use my Flysky FS-GT3B for a while until he can buy a new radio. The problem is, I cant get the radio to calibrate with the ESC. I get past the full throttle, and full brake, but when it comes to leaving it at nuetral it just flashes red and beeps at me. Ive read up on it, and people have mentioned that you might have to slightly adjust the trim to find that nuetral spot. So I've been at it for close to an hour at this point. My trim goes from 1 to 30 both in forward and backward. Ive tried it each time at each number and still no luck. I'm hesitant on bringing it to the local hobby shop because they will just tell me my radio is junk and to buy whatever theyre selling.
BTW, I did have similer problems using my Flysky radio with my Mamba Sidewinder, but that only took me a few minutes to get going. I do know the ESC works, because he saw the guy run it with the stock traxxas radio.
Any other suggestions??

So did it bind okay? Have you tried swapping two of the three motor wires? Have you tried resetting the Mamba on a computer back to stock / default throttle and brake settings?
It should work - I had the exact same combo on mine and it worked beautifully.

I'm not so sure about the beeping, but I seem to remember sending an email to Castle about the blinking light and they said that the mamba is suppose blink.

Try slowing down the arming on the Mamba. There is a split second while the receiver finds the signal on it's 2.4ghz radio. If the Mamba is arming before that takes place it can throw off the calibration. It can be accessed thru the Castle link. May solve it.

Still no luck. Maybe I'll try and call castle and see what they have to say.
