Different twist on a JRX2...
Picked this car up a while back, finally got the parts back from anodizing. It came pretty much as you see it minus the red. Just had to clean the dust off of her a bit and replace a few screws. It had white dished wheels on it, replaced them with the Losi yellow spokes.
I plan on making a Heavy Metal truck out of it. We ran H.M. BITD, it was comprised of 2wd buggies with truck bodies mounted on them. They were supposed to have full fendered bodied that covered the tires. It was a bit before Losi tried reinventing the class with their XX4 buggy with the truck body mounted to it. Anyway, I plan on using a Proline Nissan Hardbody, as I used to use it and it fit the wheelbase and track with of the JRX2 to a tee. I plan on doing a yellow and white Pennzoil themed paintjob on the body.
Still have a few parts to add... battery cup, spring collars, springs, ESC, Tecnacraft turnbuckles, and I'm thinking a red label Twister modified would look at home in her.

... red wheels and springs ...
Really nice looking Jrx2. I have not seen many of these "custom" Losi cars like there are about 50% of RC10 cars here.

I had to do a double take when I first saw the car. Before the jrx pro (or even the proformance kit) came out, losi made the extra long shocks (1.2) and anodized them red. These were sent to the team drivers afor testing.

I've seen a funny shirt on a festival this summer. It was yellow and had red writing: 'HELL', with the shell loge right above it.
I'd love to copy that over on one of my unpainted body-shells
but I think it would look killer on yours too

A bit more progress. A quiet nite at work allows me to get these projects moving.
Still need to work on a front body mount and decide what ESC I want in it.

Re: Different twist on a JRX2...
That is a cool Jrx2 Brandon. I just noticed in the second set of pics the drag link was red too. You have any white wheel nuts though? The black ones stand out a lot oon the yellow wheels. (That's not a criticism, just an observation.
) Maybe some Rad ano'd wheel nuts would go better? IDK.

I had white wheel nuts and white 4-40 nuts on the shock tops and it just looked weird. So I went for the black. I am probably going to find some red ano nuts to replace these with at some point.

Dude this looks so cool. I love the red ano with the black nylon nuts. Ha, I have the same Twisters motor in my Jrx I just picked up too.

Looks cool, kind of like a JRX2 MF edition!
