A few of my Tamiya classics

Post by howsyouraspen »

Just a couple shots of my Black Foot, Monster Beetle (which I still need to finish) and my Hot Shot. Man I miss driving these things.

Love the Hot Shot! I so want one when I'm done with the Sand Scorcher project.

Thanks. Maybe it will go up for sale once I get BST access. :)

Thank you! Nada, the wheels are are just the standard white plastic wheels I painted gold. I always liked the way the box art wheels looked.

Love the paint job on the Hot Shot! I always wanted one BITD so happy when I got to build my re-release but still not the same. And to this day I am still kicking my self for buying a Varicom Big Grizzly and not Monster Beetle, the Big Grizzly is the only car from my youth that I sold and I know I would still have the beetle as I have the 5 other cars I got as a kid!

Thanks bxlt. I always loved the Big Grizzly too. Its such a cool truck. Looked more realistic to the old school Monster Trucks. My Monster Beetle was my first Hobby grade RC. So I have always loved it. I will be finishing it in the original paint scheme I had when I was a kid vrs doing a box art body.

(like I mentioned before, the Hotshot might get posted if I get B/S/T access soon.) :D
