These things are one of the only RCs that I like to look at cleaned up and shiney lol. Was this your's originally...your the first owner? If so, Ide be proud to have somethin that nice last so long. Anything Ive owned that long is either in pieces or loooong gone lol

I wish that i was the original owner...This is my Holy Grail car...The guy i got it from was the original owner and raced it on carpet...I am the second owner...He was the one that new nothing about the Edinger , Cadillac thing... l ike me...And then we started conversating more and he was glad that i won it because he felt that it was going to a good home...It came to me very clean...I just took it apart and did a very mild clean job on it...The body has one crack that i have fixed with shoe goo...All the elctronics i have out because i am cleaning them up and i have to repair one wire to the speed control...It came as a RTR...

What do you gents recommend for shoes? I'm wanting to race at the local track with semi-hard surface. The ones on the right say TEAM LOSI, the rear ones say Flat 88s. The others I've heard called jelly beans? Thanks for your input.

I say take it to the track and run it like that. You probable want to run the larger wheels but will end up needing new rubber. The jelly beans are the type of wheel you have on the left and it is the original wheel of the RC10. It is hard to find...
I am really stoked to have gotten this Javelin from William (thanks dude!). It wasn't cheap and it isn't perfect, but it's definitly worthy of my shelf, and I think with some restoration efforts and cash injections I'll have a a stellar car....
