I think a lot of people have forgotten what a great rapper Ice Cube was/is. "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted" and "Death Certificate" are both incredible albums. One of my favorite Ice Cube lines is from his song "Givin' Up The Nappy Dugout".

I've never been lucky enough to get into ACL - tried several times, almost got in for Willie Nelson back in the 1990's...

Never been, I would love to go. I did catch ACL saturday night, and the The Civil Wars were on. I watched the whole thing, great stuff.

It kinda set me back when I started watching, no less than a few hours before that I was here reading this thread and watched a few of the vids that were posted.

ACL is one of the best live music type of shows on TV, IMO. Although another really great one that is British but on Palladia is Later with Jools Holland. That show will have 4 or 5 bands on in the same show all performing in the same room. The last show I watched had Pete Townsend, Metallica, Kings of Leon, some rapper, and 2 more eclectic musicians. A real mix of genres all in the same show with a legendary host.

Agreed, it is a great show. Along with Great Performances on PBS. I think that is what it is called.

The variety is enormous, some I like and some I watch anyway. Nothing wrong with a new musical experience.

I bought the same lights, sweet set up. Neat shading and I hope to use it often and lower the electrical bill. One can only try.
