Last weekend I scored a 1/15 scale Tiger 1 made by Bandai at a model show:
Supposedly it was complete, turned out to be missing the wire remote and instruction sheet and some string. On the other hand the drive train is complete and despite having been started it is brand new. I won't be using the missing wire remote, instead it will be converted to RC.
It cost me only 100 Euros, a good price considering it is cost 300 or so when it was still being sold. It apparently has some weak points, such as the all plastic chassis, and isn't exactly accurate, the mold dating back to the 1970s.
The box is HUGE, by the way. Easily 100 x 60 x 20 cm.

Re: Bandai 1/15 Tiger 1 tank
I have this Tiger. IMHO, the model is actually rather OK in accuracy.
The plastic chassis is surprisingly strong, I think it's thickness compensated for it.
The only area that really need some help is the road wheels, as they are plastic riding on metal shafts. I used a drill press to enlarge the road wheel hole and glue in aluminium tube inside them. This allow metal/metal contact. Quite a bit smoother.
I also transplanted tamiya gearbox into this tank.
Enjoy this nice model
