Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
After speaking with a friend (a fellow board member) we get to talking about spare parts and how I'd like to piece together something to run. He mentions that he has a scuffed up chassis he can send me so I say sure. On Friday this shows up, now I know it's got some pretty deep gouges but I think I can work with it

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Yesterday I got my first rc mail since moving to the new place a month and a half ago..... two packages, one full of receivers (mostly HSP and the like), servos (mostly rubbish), crystals (mostly singles for the collection/pile), and a Tamiya CPR unit. Quite ho hum, that lot, but I'll get some use out of it. Second package was another lot of servos, but this time some nice models... Axial AS-2, Savox SC-0252MG, JR Z650M and ES539, Futaba S3305. Plan to put one of them into my Blitz SC runner.
The total for all this joyous funnery? About AUS$70 posted for both lots.... nothing says cheap like, um, anything I buy!!!

I always look for you, mate, when I get crystals.... but most of the stuff here is 27 / 29MHz. It's illegal to use the 72 / 75 stuff here, as the emergency services use that range.gomachv wrote:If you find an old black and white futaba channel 86 receiver crystal in there I call dibs!![]()
