New to the forum, I have got a car that i am noy sure what it is and with out knowing that it hard to get parts for lol, here are a couple of photos i think it is a optima mid custom but am not sure,

What ever it is, it wasn't released in the US. The US cars had the fiber chassis.

really ? In France we had aluminium chassis with this version of the Optima.

Can You tell me why it has such a big front bumper when some of the photos i have seen have a small one, was it a model change?

That looks like a Strate Engineering aftermarket bumper (I don't know if I spelled that correctly)...I have one of those that I have no use for, because it only fits an Optima Mid. The person I bought it from said it was for a regular Optima, but the bolt pattern on the bottom isn't close.

That is an Optima Mid Custom with after market bumper. Check out my detailed restore of that model:

Looks like it's missing the Rear Plate (L).

It was the Optima Mid Custom Special that had a aluminum chassis in early batches but it was changed to a FRP chassis later on (same art.nr though). The Third and last model, the Turbo Optima Mid Special had a carbon chassis from start.

Does a Kyosho Burns bumper bolt onto an Optima Mid? I'm guessing not...I have that exact same bumper NIP here, it's really just a cut piece of Kydex with a rounded front edge. I originally bought it to install on an Optima, but found that the bolt holes only work with an Optima Mid.

Sorry for the confusion, Hcp22...I was referring to my earlier comment that the bumper is a Strate Engineering aftermarket bumper for the Optima Mid. It's not a Kyosho Burns bumper.
