me, 17, my 85 iroc-z, cruisin' the strip with creep dog in the alpine and the kicker comps bumpin' in the back...........

I was Alpine/MTX back when I was 17(couple of years earlier). This entire CD would cause plenty of "Thermal Shutdowns" from the Alpine amp. One of the greatest rap CDs of all time.

As my wife asked me over the past couple days...How old are you? I had thermal shut down today on the drive home , this thread made me dig up all my old CD's from back in the truck club days.

I keep a pair of 10" JLs in my trunk. You never get too old for great sound! My 6 year old daughter loves it too except she always makes me listen to One Direction!

Man... You guys are bringing up some crazy memories! I just turned 39.
I used to bump Techmaster P.E.B. and that awful "Cars That Go Boom" crap...

I had a couple JL twelves with a PPI (Precision Power) amp in the back of my '82 280ZX, and those old Polk Audio 'teardrop' tweeters screwed to onto the doors (not counter-sunk, just screwed onto the door panel)! Good Stuff!
I think it was a Kenwood head unit, detachable face, but just a small part of the face came off... So you could carry it in your pocket!!!
((I must admit, most of the equipment was stolen...))

I went to post 2 Live Crew "Do Wah Diddy", but that's probably a bit too filthy even if I posted the warning. I remember the whole 2 Live Crew hysteria like it was yesterday. I tricked my mom into buying it for me. Something much milder, but a bit more obscure and another great album.
