Works great as long as you only do wheelies.

Gas remote controlled car - $250 (OBO)
Date: 2012-09-21, 2:05PM CDT
This is a schumacher chasis rc car with a 2.1 pro motor with three speed and disc brakes. the front two tires and rim are missing but the car still works and runs great. comes with two recievers and a bag full of components, I originally picked it up for 700.00 in operating condition and was going to work on it as a project but lost interest thats why it's missing the two front tires due to moving. But I still start it up every now and then just to hear the motor run. this thing is a beast and not for younger kids for it is fast and will get damaged if crashed reaches actual speed of 65mph and will burn up the tires with use. It was used for drag racing competitions and a little track...

Why would it need front wheels? It was used for drag racing, they always go straight.

Without the brush, it's just not worth it.

I always watch craigslist for bikes as well as r/c car stuff and a few other things. This guy advertises as bike repair and restore.

That must be great for the property value of the neighborhood. I wonder how many snakes/rodents are living in it.

Seriously, how cheap can you be about procuring rc gear? I suppose he expects someone to meet him no further than the nearest street corner in his neighborhood.

Rc tires

Looking for 1/10th scale tires that will fit on my savage xs must have a hex rims as my car will not take the pin kind. Not looking to travel far for them (I live in oakdale) or pay that price you paid in the store. Must be 2.2 rims or if they are 2.8 they must be the short tread like the rear rustler tires. Also might be interested in shortcourse tires. If the tires are bald I could always use rims. Email me a picture of the tires and I'll let you know as soon as I see them what I can do. Thanks Carl

That was crazy...I saw that and ignored it. I wonder where in Oakdale he lives? I don't see to many RCers around here.

This is outstanding! Did he take a picture of a creased printout or poster of a TC3? Maybe the actual car is bashed up so it was easier to supply a photo of how it looked previously in a better state.

that reminds me of an ebay auction where the photos were of the item (losi item) being displayed on Horizon's website.

This isn't what I would call "hilarious" by any means, but more of a curiosity. He's been listing it for several weeks and just dropped it from $250 to $225 today, but why would you describe something you're trying to sell as "used and abused"? Honesty in advertising I guess. Plus, I figured this could use a bump.

Re: Craiglist rc parts/cars posts, hilarity thread
I always love "the picture of a picture"...especially when people use those on Personals websites! I mean, I can KIND of understand someone not owning a digital cam, but come on, in this day and age, who scans photos anymore??
Although unrelated to RC, I think the one thing that makes me laugh more than "the picture of a picture" is the "buddy taking a picture of himself taking a picture" picture, also found on Personals sites...usually taking a pic of themselves in the mirror, usually in the shitter. Sometimes you can see that a flush is needed, or embarrassing toiletries on the sink or counter.
