What are you gonna do to allow you to adjust the chain tension? As the chain wears, it'll stretch and you'll need to factor that into your design plans. ;)

I'm pretty sure the original AYK VIPER had no adjustment for chain tension as standard but what if there was just a ball raced wheel and arm to tension the chain?

I believe he was referring to the bullet connectors, not the motor. :)
