need a new battery

What would be the best nimh battery for my rc10? It needs to be a 6 cell nimh, so I'm hoping to get one that's 5000 mah. I have a castle creations sidewinder sct 3800kv system so I need a battery that will provide a good amount of power to make the system worth while... I'm sadly on a budget of $40 which is why I'm stuck with nimh. I'm considering the duratrax Onyx batteries or the tenergy batteries. Are either one of these better than the other? What is THE best American brand (no shipping from.Hong kong) battery for my application? What battery will give me the longest and fastest run times with the most punch?

Check out ProMatch, they have some lipos in the price range you specified. Plus, they have a lipo that is made to fit in "stick pack" configurations as well.

I went through this a few months ago and finally picked up a Venom 4200 for $32.
