This is of unknown origin to me.
The tyre is Kyosho Dash but the rest is a mystery.
Its made from steel and very nicely done.
The wheel is aluminium.
1:8 scale.
does not look homemade at all.
Help me please.

No idea what that is, but it's a very cool design. 8)

My guess is mid to late 70´s - High quality 1/8 formula suspension. No clue on the heritage but I don´t see it as Kyosho. Would be a Dash though if it was :-)

Gear set for what? guess the metal motor mount is for an airplane, plastic motor mount Tamiya???, top deck for what?, unknown carbon bit, and the graphite piece may be Yokomo???

Gear set is for GH/Hornet, Lunchbox, etc that had the long, rigid hex axles. It seems to just be the diff/outdrives without the counter gear. If I recall bitd they sold them separately, as the counter was always the 1st to go.

And the mount is for an airplane motor.

ok, so I know what I have, it's a Kyosho Peanut Bug, but there's "Peerless" stickers on the box and Kyosho/Peerless names on paperwork inside. I thought this thread might be the best place to ask about the connection between Kyosho and Peerless. I've read about some Peerless brand vintage cars, but not finding much. Was Peerless a US partner/importer for Kyosho or something? Anyone know?

..and a pic, because pics are always relative.

52t on the big end, 18t small. 8mm hole on one side, 11mm on the other. Should narrow it to tamiya or 100 other manufacturers 8)

If you can provide a pic of a car you own that could benefit from this gear I will send it to you. Yet Another part I don't need!

That PK Corally chassis brings memories. Me and a mate spent quite some hours copying that chassis in plain std. aluminium.
First nose landing bent it beyond repair  Then we discovered the different versions of alloy.

I have had this for a little while but I have no clue what it is. I posted it on another forum and the only guess was it may be a reduction box for a low end RC tank. Does anyone recognize this?
