Stripe missing.
Stripe missing.
Hi, I haven't been watching or reading to many of the posts on the original boxart RC10 builds. But has anyone noticed that there is no pink stripe on the left side of the body only the right on the original body.http://aedownloads.com/pdf/early_rc10.pdf. It's probably old news.

Re: Stripe missing.
On the original car, I think that pink stripe was actually pin striping tape and not paint!

Looks like pin striping tape. If you look at the second pic from the bottom it looks like the corner of the tape has lifted a bit.

This has been known for a bit. Doug incorporated it on the bodies he painted.

It always amazes me that the box art RC10 is as beautiful and timeless as it is. Truly a work of art and a great piece of marketing history regardless of it's obscurity. Coke, Nike and ATT eat your heart out!
