Would love to see a tricked out Manta Ray. It would be too cool. My racing buddy BITD ran a Manta in open class and it was actually a decent buggy. Replace the shocks and the BS plastic motor mount and off you go!

+1 on the df01 (manta ray) great platform for a runner.

i kind of like the yellow cva's, every set i have ever run has been buttery smooth and take abuse quite well.

Gotta love the the manta ray for plain wierdness, I've never ran a DFO/TA01/TA02 buggy though . Only Tamiya 4wd i've ever run was a Boomerang back in the early 90s, absolute blast!

I'm liking the XXT votes too! Didnt think that would come up, thought there would be more love for the RC10 but I guess there are plenty of those kicking around here

Andy, I am going to vote for the Cougar 2 as I loved that car BITD. Plus all that aluminium gives you a great opportunity to get some custom anodising done!

Great choice, be good fun to run a Cougar 2, the ones i've seen run used to be so quiet compared to the Tamiyas I was stuck with! Not sure I will be glamming it up as it wont get finished for years

(BTW. a few weeks ago I built the XXT you sold me last year , its now RTR and looks killer!)
Got any pics!?!?!?!? I had forgotten about that truck - I seem to recall it being in rather good condition for a used one...
