That turned out really nice! I like how you painted the fender flares and hood scoop a different color.

man that roadkill body brings back alot of memories...used to love to run dirt oval at hotrod hobbies back when they had a dirt oval...grooved jaco truck foams...limiters in the shocks to get that slammed look and a big side dam on the body...then because i was on a bugdet i would take the limiters out,put the regular offroad tires and body on and race offroad...dual purpose race truck.
do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

thanks fellas. took it with me to the track saturday before i went to work and managed to stick around long enough for the first heat. car runs totally different with this body. engine runs cooler (better air flow), much more rear bite with that rear wing, car just feels more planted.

also dont hurt that i lost about a 1/4lb removing the old wing setup i had

When I used to race carpet oval, the Roadkill body made a night and day difference in handling compared to my Dahm's Ruff-E-Nuff SE, LX-T and JRX-T bodies, even without the side dam.

no kidding. went from breaking free running anything stiffer than blue rears/green front to running red rear/silver front and looking for more rear spring.

need to start really changing setup. our track has started to come into its own and we're getting a blue groove every week, calcium chloride or not. (really good clay helped) i may wind up going to short shock setup after all

as of right now ive got the potentially best car on that track just cant get as much out of the cars i know its capable of, need to play with front tires i think.
