Re: JR CIRCUS 2
I thought Circus radio was a re badged JR Beat 2.
Maybe they were the US importer for JR like COX was for Kyosho.
Just my thoughts.
You like the old radios? Is that a boat i see in that pic???

Re: JR CIRCUS 2
The little bit I know about circus hobbies is that they were mainly mail order and part of circus circus casino in Las Vegas. I remember their ads growing up.

Re: JR CIRCUS 2
spotted a ayk last week or sale complete with circus jr radio, stated he bought them both as a package from circus hobbies

Re: JR CIRCUS 2
Ya know, pics of the radio gear would be more helpful than just pics of the boxes.
I believe that Circus Hobbies was/were the original importers of what is now know as JR Radios. That would have been back in the '80s and early 90's.

Re: JR CIRCUS 2
Now, that is interesting.......
If the links to Circus - Circus Hobbies (and thus, Circus Circus in Vegas, lovely place) are correct, then how could it have 29MHz? From my (withered) memory, the US did not run 29MHz.....
Awesome piece of kit though, Rob....
