Sasssy chassis/No RPM build
I had to dig deep into the stash for this build. Lots of aftermarket goodies and NIP parts went into it.
The front bulkhead I got from Melvinsarmy at the vonats a couple years ago, not sure of the make. It along with the battery box, rear shock bodies, and motor are the only previously used parts, everything else was freshly opened. I wanted to use a set of white A&L fiberglass shock towers, but they do not have built in body mounts and the front bulkhead has no provisions to mount a horizontal plate type body mount like the stock plastic part.
The build list:
JG
front mini bumper
steering linkage kit
Team Pitstop
titanium caster-link kit
titanium toe-link kit
hardened universal shafts
RW Racing
Spur gear adapter
Hyperdrive
Belt drive conversion
Team Losi
Ball bearing diff gear
Purple anodized motor plate
aluminum LRM screw kit
Super slider driveshafts
aluminum axle locknuts
gold rear shock shafts
MIP
Ball bearing steering kit
Hard coated shock bodies
Gold ti-nitride front shock shafts
blue anodized shock cartridges
lunsford
Titanium hinge pin kit
Tecnacraft
titanium turnbuckles
Sassy chassis
Chassis plate
Sees
Directional wheel set
HG
Alloy upper shock mounts
??
misc anodized hardware
Aluminum front bulkhead
RPM
nothing!

That looks great, with the little tid-bits of color here and there. Nice!

That's not a build thread, it's a built thread
Very nice, I have a plethora of trinity purple hardware like 4/40 cap heads etc if you want to lose the AE blue pieces

Re: Sasssy chassis/No RPM build
Just my opinion, but I actually like the mix of blue & purple bits...but I would limit it to 2 colors. More than 2 colors and it ends up looking like an inconsistent jumble of random parts.Charlie don't surf wrote:I have a plethora of trinity purple hardware like 4/40 cap heads etc if you want to lose the AE blue pieces

Re: Sasssy chassis/No RPM build
Did you rotate the end bell 180 degrees for the hyperdrive to work on that side of the car?
J/K, I know that car is never meant to ride on anything but shelf dust. Beautiful build Anthony!!
