Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
i just picked up an 86 haro freestyler for $20 with original forks (pegs still intact and like new) gooseneck and handle bars the rest of the bike is gt except a redline seat... i want to restore it with newer rims,3 piece crank, and seat... the only thing i havent found that i need before i start buying the new parts is a decal sheet does anyone know of where to find them??? ive done google searches, ebay and every bike shop within a 30 mile radius... with absolutely no luck

Hit up BMXMuseum.com, you'll find eveything you need there including original and repro decal sets for the Haro.

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
Got my old Hutch Trickstar back. I sold it to a good friend 7 years ago, and bought it back yesterday. It's filthy, so I've torn it down to give it a good cleaning. Probably going to change a few parts out, but stick with the white/silver combo. The f/f is original finish paint and decals and is in a solid 9/10 condition.

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
That is a gorgeous bike! wow, just sourcing one is difficult let alone buying it.
Just starting restoring an old Kuwahara Magician (I believe it is an EX but not 100% sure) and am making the purists over at BMXmuseum.com squirm as I threw in an old Haro 3 pc crank and some replica Tuff's lol, will post pictures soon, its still in the paint stage.

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
I'll have to dig up some photos, but I used to have a sweet Redline RL20A in hazard yellow. Then I got chrome Haro Master w/ some awesome blue oddessy tires, which is still hanging in my parents garage.

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
One more. This is a nice 1985 GT Pro World Tour. It's a survivor and looks to be 100% original. It's in great condition. I've always wanted a purple GT. Not sure if I'm going to hold on to this one though, really wanting to rebuild that Trickstar.
